Hi, I'm Verity and I am on a mission to prove that absolutely anyone can be creative.
I have been seized by insecurity enough times to know how daunting it is to try something new, but trust me, YOU CAN!
I host workshops and events in Dorset to help you unlock your inner creative and have fun doing so.
What we do
Paint and sip
Create your own masterpiece with a glass of something nice in your hand. Designed for beginners, I guide through every step, so you're sure to paint something to be proud of.
Bookish crafts
Combining crafts with my other great love - reading! If you fancy painting book edges, creating accessories or personalising your library, you have come to the right place.
Craft club
Fancy trying something a little bit different? I host a range of craft clubs at different venues where you can try something new, learn a skill and have an excuse to play with no pressure.
Private events
Booking a corporate event, hen do, or birthday? Let's chat! I have a range of packages on offer, or can tailor something specific for you and your needs.

About Us
Verity's Hobbies is the dream child of Verity, a passionate creative and certified 'ho for hobbies'.
Verity has always been obsessed with trying new things and learning new skills. She shares her love for painting, crafting, sewing, reading and most of all, teaching, through her Dorset-based craft workshops and events.
